Benefits of Installing FSE-PFI
- Adds fire safety features to your building in compliance with fire code
- Slows down the spread of fire for a specified period
- Safely and securely protects building components
- Sturdy and durable with added insulation
FSE-PFI-PLY protects your gas lines, electrical wiring, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning by helping contain the fire. FSE-PFI is built to withstand the heat from a fire for a certain amount of time before failing. That gives time to either control and put out the fire or help people exit the building. For added safety, FSE-PFI-PLY has an inside panel release that allows the panel to open from inside, standard on all doors over 12" X 12 inches. The plaster flange also adds stability. Its design is perfect for plaster compound application to ensure it sticks to the installation surface.
Fire Safety Equipment's PFI models also have a cold rolled steel frame and galvanneal steel door materials that meet NFPA's strict standards. They protect the building from deadly fire as they can withstand fire for up to three hours before it fails. Also, the access door has a self-latching tool-key operated slam latch and ring-operated slam latch that can withstand the extreme fire heat until it reaches its pressure limit.
FSE-PFI-PLY helps to keep air from passing through that can feed a fire. It also helps to prevent smoke from spreading.
